Children’s Stories

Ah Fah and his little sister Ellie came to Kid’s Life after the death of their parents. Their relatives were not caring for them properly and they were suffering significant neglect. Since living at Kids Life both their grandparents have died. Ah Fah loves to worship while playing his imaginary guitar, Ellie is always full of smiles and loves visitors.
Ting –Zeung is the youngest of three; she has an older sister Aizing and a brother Datzan. When her father died her mother decided she wanted to start a new life and so left Ting-Zeung, Aizing, and Datzan with their elderly and sickly aunt. The aunt cared for them for a time until she was finally unable to support them. In 2010 all three came to Kids Life.
Phong came to Kid’s Life with his three older sisters Mai, Mee and Narnia. After their parents had divorced the dad never returned to visit the children. Their mother left for a job in the city, abandoning the children leaving them to fend for themselves. Their house was an unsafe place for the girls and the only food they had was from their neighbours. Now they have a safe place to grow, learn, and play.
When Pandah arrived at Kid’s Life she was unable to talk as she had had little contact with other people. In order to support herself and Panda, her mother worked in a night market and then would sleep during much of the daytime. Panda’s mother was and still is a very unwell woman who accrued many bills and was on the run from debt collectors. Panda returned to her mother for a short time, but she was unable to adequately care for any of Panda needs physically or emotionally.
Nu came to Kid’s Life with his two younger sisters, Raht and Tip in 2003. Their father was dead and their mother was in jail. A year later their little brother Demlon came to join them. The children remain a close nit family and have had opportunity to travel 12 hours to visit their mother.
Dow and Dee’s mother died of diabetes and their father seldom had work. There was no one to care for them. They came from an isolated mountain village where the spirit of God is moving with signs and wonders.
Seegame came to Kid’s Life Children’s Home when he was only 6 years old. He was an only child and his parents were both dead; despite these tragedies Seegame has a wonderful smile and a good sense of humour.
Pim came to Kid’s Life when she was three years old. Her Father died and her mother abandoned her. Pim’s elderly Grandparents could not continue to care for her.

Baby New’s mother brought her to Kid’s Life Children’s Home when she was born. She did not know the identity of the father. This precious little girl now has God as her father and is surrounded by many loving brothers and sisters.
Oud’s mother is a Burmese refugee, living in Thailand without papers. She has been married many times but the current stepfather had taken to beating her and her son. She fled from his house for safety bringing Oud to Kid’s Life. Having no way to support her son she insisted we take him.
Ploy was one of the first children to come to Kid’s Life. Her mother had remarried after her father’s death and she was not wanted by the new dad. Since moving here, her mother, step-father and all other relatives have died. We thank God that she had found a loving home before all this loss occurred in her life.
Malachi and Micah’s mother died after giving birth to twin boys. The twins only lived one month before dying of starvation. Their home was deep in the woods, 5 kilometers away from the nearest school. Their father has to work away from the home which meant the boys were being left to care for themselves.
